We’ll pick up debris in and around the park. We’ll also create a dry well to stop the formation of the “pond.” This event is being held in conjunction with the The Great CoHi Cleanup, a neighborhood-wide event.

Another Successful Mardi Paws
Thanks to the Community Wellness Alliance Collaborative, North Columbia Heights Civic Association, Patrick's Pet Care, Green Spaces for DC, Encounter Church DC, and Friends of the Trolley Park for joining us as sponsors of this year's Mardi Paws. Thanks especially to YaVonne Jackson Boyd, for all of her hard work to make the event a success.
Mardi Paws Event on February 17
Join us for Mardi Paws! It will take place on Febuary, 17, 2018 from 11 am - 1 pm at the dog park. There will be a pet costume contest, prizes, and giveaways. Celebrate your pets and learn about the efforts to save the Columbia Heights Dog Park.
Clean-Up Day Scheduled for February 10, 2018
Do you love your dogs? Then show them by helping us clean up their dog park. Please join us Saturday, February 10th from 9am-11am. We'll bring the coffee.
Community Meeting Held On January 31
Last night members of the community gathered to learn information about the status of the dog park and what we need to do next. Representatives from 11th and Bark and Green Spaces for DC spoke, as well as Patrick Flynn of Patrick's Pet Care, Councilmember Brianne Nadeau, and ANC Commissioners Angelica Castañon and Kent Bose.
