7th Annual Santa Photo Day

70 dogs—and one cat!—met Santa this year at our 7th annual Santa photo event. Our Board members worked overtime to make the event a success and we are grateful to the folks at Queen’s English, who were kind enough to host us again this year. This event is our big fundraiser and we appreciate everyone who participoated and donated our small, nonprofit organization. We wouldn’t exist without all of your support.

Another Successful Mardi Paws

Thanks to the Community Wellness Alliance Collaborative, North Columbia Heights Civic Association, Patrick's Pet Care, Green Spaces for DC, Encounter Church DC, and Friends of the Trolley Park for joining us as sponsors of this year's Mardi Paws. Thanks especially to YaVonne Jackson Boyd, for all of her hard work to make the event a success.

Community Meeting Held On January 31

Last night members of the community gathered to learn information about the status of the dog park and what we need to do next. Representatives from 11th and Bark and Green Spaces for DC spoke, as well as Patrick Flynn of Patrick's Pet Care, Councilmember Brianne Nadeau, and ANC Commissioners Angelica Castañon and Kent Bose.

You can find the advocacy sheet distributed at the meeting, here.
