11th & Bark was formed to make the Columbia Heights Dog Park an official city off-leash dog park. Thanks to advocacy of supporters like you, the District has leased the dog park property and is preparing to renovate the park this spring.

Quinn, a 2-year-old shepherd mix, was adopted from @k9lifesavers. Quinn is obsessed with the ball—chasing them but not giving them up and sometimes even a ball thief!

This is Zoe, a 16 month old Plott Hound who was adopted from @citydogsrescue. She was originally found in Virginia, where she had a bad injury that was likely a gunshot wound. But now, she is safe, sound, and healthy in her new home in Columbia Heigh

Cashew, a 2-year old golden doodle, comes to the park to run, and run, and run. If there are no dogs to run with, he’ll run after a ball.

This is Fitz. He is a 9-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound who has lived in DC his entire life. He loves the dog park and takes his official role as dog park greeter very seriously.

Frank is a regular at the dog park. His parents live nearby and he comes here almost every day. Frank loves to run and play at the park and he always wants to stop at @thewonderlanddc on the way home.

Meet Sully! He’s a 6-month old English Bulldog. He couldn’t stop playing with this ball long enough to get a posed photo.

Medusa is a 1- 1/2 year old mix. She was adopted at 8 weeks old from @citydogsrescue. Dusa loves rope toys and running at the park with Emelda, Layla, and Olive. @dailydusacuteness

This is Lando! He is a 4-month old German wirehaired pointer. He has been coming to the park for two months—half his life! He loves to play fetch, eat fruit (especially bananas), and have morning snuggles.
